The Cathedral

My christmas gift for my sister! ...and the reason my sister was the only person who got a drawing as a Christmas gift this year.^^'

Okay, the thing about my sister is that she's crazy about Italian things and wants to move to Florence when she finishes college she actually asked for the the Florence Cathedral (Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore) when I asked what she'd like if I'd draw something for her. Yeah, my sister is weird.
She really liked it - she even became a bit teary-eyed when I gave it to her. Or maybe she was just sad because her sister spends her time doing stuff like this instead of getting a life.

This is traced by hand (I found the photo at [link] ) but I've improvized a lot when it came to the decorations of the cathedral and the houses around the church.
